Getting your little one's prints to us is easier than you think. We can work with handprints or footprints you already have — simply email us a scan or clear photo. Prefer a fresh impression? We will send you our gentle at-home Print Kit completely free of charge, delivered within 2 to 3 business days of your order.

Once your prints are ready, email them back to us with your name and order number. We will handle everything else. 🤍

About Our Print Kit

Our Print Kit includes a specially formulated Wipe and Printing Paper. The Wipe feels dry to the touch and is completely safe — hospital-grade and suitable for babies, children and adults of all ages.

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1 — Apply the Wipe
Open the Wipe and apply it evenly to your child's hand or foot, making sure to cover all areas you would like printed. One Wipe can be used for multiple prints — but all prints must be taken in one sitting.

Step 2 — Take the Print
Place the hand or foot firmly onto the Printing Paper and press down for 2 to 3 seconds. Gently press on individual fingers and toes to ensure every detail is captured clearly.

A helpful tip — less pressure creates a lighter print with more detail, while more pressure creates a darker, bolder print. We recommend taking several prints at different pressures so you have options to choose from. 💡

Step 3 — Lift & Reveal
Lift the hand or foot up and away from the Printing Paper. Your prints will appear instantly. If no print develops, simply turn the paper over and try again. You can take as many prints as you like by reapplying the Wipe each time.

Please indicate which print you would like us to use and include your child's name.

Important — please wash your child's hands and feet thoroughly after taking prints.

Engraving on the Back

Every Matanai Jewelry piece can be personalized with engraving on the back. Please let us know your preference when emailing your prints:

- Initials only
- First name — engraved in our standard font
- Handwritten name — ask your child to write their name on any clean piece of paper and send it to us along with the prints. We will engrave it exactly as they wrote it
- Date of birth — add your child's birthdate for an extra personal touch
